On the left side lies a public beach, adjacent to a more exclusive area reserved for the guests of the prestigious Hotel California (small arеa). From thrilling parachute rides to other beach activities, there's something for everyone. On this beach, there are small fish that swim into the shallow waters as you step in, playfully tickling your feet. It brings happiness to everyone’s life!

Popularity and Accessibility

These beaches are immensely popular, not only for their proximity to an array of apartments and accommodations offered by hotels and private individuals, but also for their accessibility via public transport and convenient parking. Their popularity is further enhanced by the splendid views they offer, making them a photographer's paradise. The beaches are not just about relaxation; they are a feast for the senses, with beautiful landscapes that are perfect for leisurely strolls. The parking map below. I’d like to note that the Maestral Resort & Casino offers a paid parking lot (though you’ll need to walk to the beaches), which you can use. A bit further up the road from the hotel but closer to Sveti Stefan, there’s another parking area located opposite the fire station. This one is free, but it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, during the summer months, there is a paid parking lot organized within the Milocer Park. Keep in mind that if you arrive early and find the barrier open, it doesn’t guarantee a free exit later. Be cautious and take this into account.

The journey to these beaches is an adventure in itself, winding through majestic cliffs and lush vegetation, adding a unique flavor to the holiday experience.

<p><strong>How to Get There</strong></p>

These beaches are easily accessible from the main coastal road, with regular bus services and ample parking for those driving. Water taxis offer a unique way to hop from one beach to another, providing a different perspective of the stunning coastline. At the end of this article, I’ll include a map to guide you on how to drive from Budva's Old Town to Sveti Stefan. I hope you find it helpful. Regarding buses: I’ve provided the bus schedule below. A one-way ticket costs €2.50 and can be purchased either from an attendant at the stop or directly from the driver (most often from the driver).

Upon arrival in Sveti Stefan, you’ll find a staircase near the bus stop. Simply head down the stairs to reach the beach.

  • From the center of Budva, near the Perla restaurant, buses depart from the bus stop. They run every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 8:00 AM and every 15 minutes from 8:00 AM to midnight.

  • The return route, from the stop marked on the map below back to Budva, operates every 30 minutes from 6:20 to 8:30 AM and every 15 minutes from 8:30 AM to 12:30 AM.

Conclusion

Sveti Stefan attracts a large number of travelers and is visited by countless people throughout the year. Although the island itself closed to visitors for several years, people still come here to admire the breathtaking scenery and connect with nature. During the summer months, this spot draws even more tourists, as the beaches of Sveti Stefan are incredibly picturesque and inviting. The crystal-clear, azure, and soothing sea welcomes everyone from early morning until late evening. Personally, I’ve visited Sveti Stefan in winter and spring for breakfasts, and in the summer, I would come early in the morning for a refreshing swim to energize my day. Honestly, after swimming at one beach, I would move to another, enjoying the sound of the waves and the gentle rustle of the leaves. It’s an unforgettable experience that will stay with me for a lifetime! I wish the same for you, my dear readers—make sure to visit Montenegro!
